Book: Last call of THE DEVIL

Call me Jacob...I remember our evenings in the countryside and all the beauty around us. Goldie was a wonderful little mare! I don’t think she made thirteen hands at the wither, yet she could haul half of an elk, a half of moose just like any full-size draft horse could.
She was tough. She was also a fair honest little mare. I remember going and getting an elk for a customer, down in a real bad gully. It was a tough trail back up, and I just ended up throwing her lead shank over her neck, grabbing onto her tail so I could have a help up, and she just followed the trail ride up back to the main trail and hauled me with her. I sure do have fond memories of her and memories of all the artistic paintings we made there, while a wagon is in front and flowers are behind and the breeze whispers all the best in our ears and hearts.

Manicure the body and sway.

Shelter hearts when they tilt.
